With the creation of FlyEase, Nike made great strides towards inclusivity, allowing many the ability to wear shoes previously thought impossible. Today, however, that noble intention has begun to blur, the brand now tweaking the technology for sport. The brand new Glide FlyEase, for example, is meant for the on-the-go athlete who can’t afford to waste their adrenaline tying their shoes…
A hands-free solution like the Go FlyEase before it, the Glide offers a near seamless, sleek look composed almost entirely out of mesh materials. Overlaid atop there are a few taped panels that add further rigidity to the points the thick stitching does not reach. Then, for cosmetic touch, both the Move To Zero logo and the beloved Swoosh pop in white, complementing the “FlyEase” text that dresses the adjacent pulls. Below, Grind rubbers make up the entire tooling, while recycled TPU builds out the robust, foldable heel clip.
For a closer look, see the official images below. Priced at $120 USD, the silhouette should appear on Nike.com very soon.
In other news, the CLOT Air Max 1 Solar Red is releasing next week.
