Arguably the athlete’s most playful signature yet, the adidas Harden Vol. 5 Futurenatural leans much closer to an art project than a basketball sneaker. And even with its upcoming Core Black colorway, the model refuses to let go of the vibrant patches that debuted alongside the shoe.
Shades of dark blue, Frozen Yellow, cream, orange, and the like dress all across the understated frame, each panel ostensibly cosmetic in its usage. Only the additions to the eye stay, forefoot, and toe cap seem to serve a purpose as they add a bit more support to the usual stress points. Underneath, these bits of color are then offset by black shades, the seamless construction, laces, tongues, and tooling all clad in the very same neutral.
Grab a detailed look at this latest entry into the Vol. 5 here and expect to see it at adidas.com on January 31st, 2021.
If skateboarding is more your thing, then keep an eye out on Nike By You as they might be bringing back the awaited Dunk Low ID.
