The COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Foamposite One Releases Globally On November 13th_CaminosModa

After an arguably surprising debut on November 5th, the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Foamposite One collaboration is set to launch at a wider selection of retailers across the globe on Saturday, November 13th.

Launched with a staggering $520 USD price tag, the Japanese institution’s latest Nike-backed project ushered in a new era for the made-for-basketball sneaker. Each pair follows a monochromatic black or white arrangement, with contrast only arriving by way of branding. The CdG Foamposite‘s most-defining feature, however is the reworked upper, which replaces the original ridges with series of curves reminiscent of zen gardens. Nike Penny logos are also abandoned on the heel, boasting the Rei Kawakubo-led HOMME PLUS imprint’s name instead.
