Drawing upon classic palettes like the “Sunset” — borrowed from the Air Max Plus — and also using precious metal colors like gold, the 720 certainly aims to catch your eye with its bold stylings. The latest colorway to surface? A “Carbon Grey” that features a similar fade effect to other releases, but trades out the extra-bold colors for something a touch more toned-down. A greenish-grey color is used on the upper — dark on the heel, lighter on the midfoot and toebox — while the Air Max unit is clear on the heel for a light, airy touch. Tonal plastic overlays appear on the upper, and a small black Swoosh on the lateral midfoot provides just enough branding.
