This week, adidas Yeezy has blessed us with not just one but two releases. Hot off the heels of their “Mist Stone” 500 High, the sub-label is bringing back the Yeezy Boost 700 v1 shape, dressing it up in a “Wash Orange” colorway that’s only a few evolutions away from the ever-iconic “Wave Runner.”
If you’re well-acquainted with the latter, then these should feel nothing short of familiar. The upper is a near exact replica of the pair, making use of an identical color blocking and a similar fabrication. Only the shades themselves are somewhat distinct, the instances of grey seeming just marginally darker than the original. Elsewhere, however, the black suedes as well as the green and blue mesh inserts are unmistakably repurposed just like the sole whose bright orange was used on the “Enflame Amber,” “Bright Blue,” and “Sun” previously.
For another look, check out the imagery shared below. A release is currently slated to hit the retailers below this Saturday, October 16th.
