The ASICS GEL-1130 Embarks On A “Hairy Suede Pack”_CaminosModa

Beloved for its ulterior cushioning system and plush upper, the ASICS GEL-1130 returned from the archives in late 2021. While the widely-regarded venture from the heralded Gel-cushioning line has mainly cohabitated with collaborators throughout the past few seasons, the 1130 now embarks upon a unique two-pair pack of inline offerings.

Immediately, eyes are drawn to the silhouette’s hairy suede detailing that outfits the profile form strip, mudguard and heel counter. Dyed in either “Piedmont Grey” or “Sand” the seldom appearances anchor a balanced approach from the toe to the heel while “Steel Grey” and “Cream” treated mesh base layers amplify the latter tooling. The earth-toned pair is further illuminated by a smooth brown suede overlay in contrast to the other silhouette’s jet-black appearance. What’s more, the murky ensemble is injected with a cobalt blue finish within the midsole while the lighter pair opts for a vibrant orange conclusion underfoot.
