Originally rumored to be the next installment in the “Shattered Backboard” series that commenced in 2015, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Electro Orange” has been touted as a stand-alone retro. New on-foot images of the pair have surfaced of a reported July 17th release date.
Predominantly clad in “White” and “Black,” the forthcoming sneaker’s most notable detail is the vibrant, near-fluorescent citrus tone that takes over the collar area and outsole. While official images haven’t surfaced to confirm whether or not matching orange laces are included in the packaging, “Electro Orange”-reminiscent laces deliver flair to the otherwise simple Jordan 1. The “Black Toe,” profile swooshes and “wings” insignia on the lateral ankle flap are rooted in Air Jordan heritage, but the ensemble unquestionably belongs among the line’s modern propositions.
Enjoy detailed shots of the Jordan 1 “Electro Orange” here below, and anticipate a Nike SNKRS launch come mid-July.
