These days, every release date should be taken with a grain of salt. And while most if not all of the EU and Asia drops have landed smoothly without delays, we here in the states fall victim to widespread postponements — the most notable of which coming from Jordan Brand. After pushing back the Air Jordan 6 Hare as well as the Air Jordan 1 Tie-Dye, they’re now disappointing yet again by pushing back the Air Jordan 11 Low Concord Bred by quite a few weeks.

Design-wise, the pair bears the image of the silhouette’s two greatest colorways. The Concord, which was one of Nike’s all-time best selling sneakers, takes the primarily lead, however, as the classic black and white formation is the most noticeable at first glance. Patent leathers polish to their usual shine, leather fabrications construct much of the rest of the upper, and the usual “23” and Jumpman branding find their place at the heel even despite the shorter stature. Though it plays a small role, the Bred adds the only bit of color to the overall scheme, coloring in both the tread as well as the various logos.
